DECEMBER HAPPENINGS!

We have many fun, fabulous and festive festivities planned for December! It is such a great time of year where we have so many opportunities to celebrate the gift of our Saviour.

Friday, December 2, 2011 THE GREAT GIFT EVENT 7-9:30 pm meet at the church
Last year we did a white elephant gift exchange and this year we will give with a difference. Bring $5 or whatever donation you are able to and whatever the youth group raises we will match. Then we will head to Toys R Us and go toy shopping! How fun is that? The toys that you buy will be donated to Santa's Anonymous for needy children. (remember to get your permission forms in to us for this trip).
Saturday, December 10, 2011 CHRISTMAS BANQUET 5:00 pm -8:00 pm at the church
Come out for some fantastic food and great laughs. We will be joining the church for this feast. It will be an entertaining night with some hilarious drama (not quite panic squad, but I am sure that the actors will have panic!) You need a ticket to come. Let us know by Sunday December 4 if you are coming!

Saturday, December 17, 2011 CHRISTMAS FARM PARTY! 1:00 pm to about 8:00 pm
Yep! you heard right. We are heading out to a farm for some good old fashioned fun like hay rides and skating on a pond. You can even have a close encounter with a cow! :) MOOOO!

Thursday, November 10 Youth is on Thursday this week due to the long weekend. Come out for some of your favourite games (maybe even Bible Smugglers!) 7:00-9:30 pm at the church.


Friday, November 18 More of all the great activities we love about youth! 7:00-9:30 pm at the church.

Friday, November 25 This is a huge event that you won't want to miss! Mt. Carmel is coming out again to debut their nerf finger rockets. This is a bring-a-friend event! 7:00-9:30pm at the church

OCTOBER EVENTS!

Is it really October already? That means that IGNITE is nearly here!

Here is what we know is happening for youth this month. We still have some details to fill in, but we will let you know scoop as soon as we know!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7: Happy Thanksgiving! There is no youth this Friday due to the long weekend.
(If there is enough interest for a Thursday Oct. 6 gathering, then we can plan for that.)

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14: Minute to Win It. 7-9:30 pm at the church

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15: Deadline for the early bird registration for Ignite.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21: Games, grub, and good news! 7-9:30 pm at the church

OCTOBER 28-30: IGNITE YOUTH CONFERENCE! This is an amazing weekend that you don't want to miss!

We will have another night of some great games planned. More information will be sent to you via facebook.


Friday, September 30 Bake Night
Bring some cookie dough and your chef’s hat! We are baking up a storm for Sunday’s bake sale to raise money for our World Vision Sponsor child and our youth trip to the Ignite Conference.

Wednesday, August 27 7:00-9:30 at the church. Unless the sun decides to shine, we will be having a movie night, complete with popcorn of course!

Wednesday, August 3, 7:00-9:30 at the church. This will be our last youth group meeting for the summer until we start up again in September.

We are also looking for youth to help out with Kid’s Week during August 22-26 (in the evenings). Please let Heather know if you are able to help out.

July Events!

Wednesday, July 6 6:00-10:00 pm. BBQ at our house. Come out for some great food and a very fun surprise game. Let us know if you are coming so we can make sure that we have enough food!

Youth "Soul Surfer" Movie Night
