Video Night - Friday August 13

Hello all! I hope that you are having a "sunsational" summer!

I am sure that you are thinking September is just way too far away to wait for a youth event. So here is something to relieve your youth group withdrawals! :)

The Journey (the church that uses CDBC in the evenings) is hosting a youth video night. The movie is called "To Save a Life" and you can check it out at tosavealifemovie.com. I checked out the trailer and it looks like a great movie. Here are the details:

"To Save A Life"

Date: Friday, August 13, 2010

Time: 7:00 pm (Doors open at 6 pm)

Place: Castledowns Baptist Church

11253 - 153 Ave. Edmonton

Let us know if you are coming (the evening is free and open to your friends and families as well).

We can't promise you AC or slurpees (maybe Kevin will bring licorice if we give him lots of subtle hints like this)- but it should be a fantastic time, great movie, and some good chat afterward.

Also, let's keep in touch this summer. Let us know what you have been doing with your days. Highlights of camp, or travels, or just hanging out. If there is anything that we can be praying about too, keep us in the loop. Let's remember to pray for Daniel and Kwesi on their missions trip.

Enjoy the moments and delight in God!

Welcome...

...to our new post. It still is a bit of a work in progress so let me know what you think and pass along any suggestions. Also, please pass along this new blog address to others who may have not got the info about the change, or who may be interested in joining us at youth in the fall.

In meantime, get those super-soakers primed! See you at the picnic on Sunday!
