New Beginnings. That is what I always think of when I think of the a new year beginning. A chance to start fresh, a whole new year of possibilities and new adventures to be lived in the coming year. New Beginnings- that is what our life in Christ also offers us. The Bible says that the old has gone and the new has begun. He is making us into something new, something better. Sometimes, that is not always easy- it is hard to let go sometimes, even scary- but God offers us something so much better. He wants to transform you into someone beautiful, someone who reflects His image and love. So embrace the newness, embrace the transforming work of Christ in your life this year. Let's be made new in 2012!

FRIDAY, JANUARY 6, 2012 Youth Group at the church. 7-9:30 pm. Start the year off right with games and fun.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 13, 2012 Youth Group at the church. 7-9:30 pm. We will let you know the specifics of this night as we know them! (suggestions welcomed!) :)
FRIDAY, JANUARY 20 U of A BEARS HOCKEY! Meet at the church at 6:15 pm. We will be going to the University of Alberta to watch some hockey. Cost: $5. You need to let us know if you are coming so that we can make sure we have a ticket and space in a vehicle for you. Also, we are looking for STUP coupons for 2 for 1 admission to U of A Bears Hockey, for our drivers. So if you have a STUP book, please bring along that coupon.
